Alice — 18 years old. Born in Germany. Speaks German, English, French, and Spanish. Owner of the Lunar Dial and leader of Raven Defensive Systems Incorporated mercenary company.

Alister ‘XO’ Homsfield — 37 years old. Born in England. Speaks English and German. Former British Army computer forensic and cyber warfare specialist. Second in command of the Lunar Dial.

Gideon Yairi — 64 years old. Born in Israel. Speaks Hebrew, Arabic, and English. A former Sayeret Matkal (Israeli Special Forces), Gideon was hired by Alice’s father to act as her bodyguard. A task he has been attending to since she was in diapers.

Catalino ‘Flash’ Famosa — 31 years old. Born in Cuba. Speaks Spanish, English, and Portuguese. Serves as the Lunar Dial‘s explosive expert, though he has no formal training in the subject.

Tatyana ‘Mayhem’ Volnova — 25 years old. Born in Russia. Speaks Russian. Sharpshooter and assassin. Joined the Lunar Dial crew under mild protest from the other members due to actions taken against Alice and the rest of RDSI.

Florence ‘Doc’ Nightingale — 24 years old. Born in England. Speaks English. Former member of the Royal Army Medical Corps. After being medically discharged from the British military, Alice hired her on as the ship’s medical officer.

Dorothy Spinner — 19 years old. Born in the United States. Speaks English, Mandarin, Spanish, Russian, Arabic,  Hindi, Japanese, Portuguese, Punjabi, German, French, Italian, and is still learning Korean, Vietnamese, Turkish, Urdu, Marathi, Wu, Malay, Thai, Polish, Romanian, Greek, Somali, Dutch, Hungarian, Zulu, Navajo, and Cherokee. A linguistics student recently accepted by Harvard University, Dorothy took a vacation overseas and wound up in trouble. Alice rescued her and brought her aboard the Lunar Dial for her safety.

Edvard ‘Captain’ Gerhardsen — 42 years old. Born in Norway. Speaks English and Norwegian. Acts as captain of the ship. Has the end word in all matters concerning the Lunar Dial.

Thomas Deacon — 44 years old. Born in Germany. Acts as the primary pilot of the Lunar Dial.

Walter O’Reilly — 22 years old. Born in the United States. Radar specialist.

Holly White — 31 years old. Born in the United States. Ex-CIA.

Ernie Borgnino — 55 years old. Born in Italy. Formerly of the Italian Navy.

Francesca Delia — 34 years old. Italian origin. Crew of the Lunar Dial.

Ewan Daniels — 42 years old. Irish origin. Serves as an engineer aboard the Lunar Dial. Romantically involved with Dominique. Does not like Tatyana.

Dominique Bigot — 31 years old. French origin. Serves as an engineer aboard the Lunar Dial. Romantically involved with Ewan.

Signum — 28 years old. Born in the United States of America. Speaks English, Spanish, and Arabic. A CIA agent who had infiltrated RDSI before the start of the story and was involved with the destruction of the Solar Dial.

Christoph — 31 years old. Born in Germany. Speaks German, English, Russian, and Arabic. Alice’s brother who is being groomed to take over the family business.


Equipment


Naval Transportation


The Lunar Dial — An extensively modified K130 Braunschweig class corvette. 89 meters long, 13.5 meters wide. Serves as RDSI’s primary transportation around the world. Many modifications have been made to the ship for the purpose of comfort or utility, though it retains its militaristic bearings.

The Solar Dial — A modified luxury yacht modeled after the Nomad super yacht. It was destroyed roughly three months before the beginning of the story, but had served as Alice’s primary vessel for six years prior.


Ground Transportation


M1078 LMTV (x2) — Primary delivery vehicle for for the Lunar Dial crew. Link.

HMMWV — Humvee used for personnel transport. Modified with a slightly extended cab for additional seating room. Link.


Weaponry and Munitions


M395 Guided Mortar — Mortar round that uses GPS guidance to hit their target. Link.

M134 Minigun — Gatling-style multi-barreled machine gun. Link.

CTAR-21 — IWI Tavor TAR-21 variant, used by Israeli commandos. Has a slightly shorter barrel than the standard TAR-21. Gideon’s weapon of choice. Link.

KSVK 12.7 — Russian anti-material sniper rifle. Tatyana’s weapon of choice. Link.

M79 Grenade Launcher — Single shot break-action grenade launcher. Flash’s weapon of choice. Link.

FN P90 — Bullpup submachine gun. Flash’s primary non-explosive weapon of choice. Link.

SA80 — 5.56mm NATO assault rifle. Bullpup configuration. Alister’s weapon of choice. Link.

QBU-88 sniper rifle — Chinese sniper rifle used in an assassination attempt against Dorothy in Arc 001. Link.

Phalanx CIWS — Radar enabled auto-cannons for missile defense. Link.
